Data controller

Data processed and purposes

Identity and contact details are used to answer enquiries, manage bookings and communicate useful holiday information. Booking, payment and package data is used to perform the contract. Room preferences, travel information, gender and dance role are used to organise the holiday, transfers, rooms and operational follow-up.

Technical connection data and security logs protect the website and back office. Marketing communications and non-essential trackers rely on your consent, which you may withdraw at any time.

Legal bases

Processing necessary for booking and organising the holiday is based on pre-contractual steps and contract performance. Accounting, tax and tourism requirements are based on SOCIALDANCE’s legal obligations. Service security and abuse prevention are based on its legitimate interests. Optional communications, promotional image use and non-essential trackers rely on consent.

Recipients and service providers

Data is accessible only to authorised SalsaNueva team members and providers needing it to deliver their services. Depending on the journey, these may include Xplor Deciplus and its payment providers, Supabase for data hosting, Vercel for application hosting, Aircall for telephone follow-up, Calendly for appointments and ActiveCampaign for updates you have agreed to receive.

Where a provider processes data outside the European Economic Area, SOCIALDANCE relies on safeguards provided by law and applicable contractual commitments.

Retention periods

Data is kept as long as necessary to prepare and deliver the holiday, then archived for periods required by legal obligations and the defence of SOCIALDANCE’s rights. Data for prospects who do not book is deleted no later than three years after their last contact, unless they object or withdraw consent earlier. Security data is kept for a limited period proportionate to its purpose.

Your rights

You may request access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing or portability, and object to processing based on legitimate interests. You may withdraw consent at any time without affecting processing already carried out.

Cookies and external content

Security principles

The website stores no payment card data or passport copies. Back-office access is restricted to authorised accounts, secrets remain server-side and operational data is protected by access controls.
