SOCIALDANCE acts as a package travel organiser within the meaning of the French Tourism Code.
ARTICLE 2 — PURPOSE, SCOPE AND CONTRACTUAL DOCUMENTS
These general terms govern the booking and performance of SalsaNueva Escape packages sold to travellers. Depending on the holiday, the contract includes these general terms, the specific terms for the relevant edition, pre-contractual information, the statutory information form, the booking confirmation and any special requirements expressly accepted by SOCIALDANCE.
The specific terms set out the destination, dates, number of nights, accommodation, meals, dance programme, other services, included transfers, total price, payment schedule, accessibility conditions and general formalities. The Palmiye 2027 edition is not subject to any minimum number of participants.
In the event of a conflict, the specific terms prevail only for the characteristics of the relevant holiday, without excluding applicable mandatory provisions.
Contractual arrangements. At Club Med Palmiye near Antalya, Türkiye, the SalsaNueva Escape group stays alongside other holidaymakers; the Club is not exclusively reserved for Escape. SOCIALDANCE sells the package and is the traveller’s contractual contact for its included services. Club Med and transfer providers act as SOCIALDANCE’s service providers for the package. Flights booked separately by the traveller are covered by separate contracts with the airline or ticket seller and are not included in the package.
Effective date. This version applies to new bookings of the package without flights made under these terms from 20 October 2026. It does not retroactively change existing contracts or the services or guarantees expressly agreed in them. Any change to an existing contract remains subject to applicable rules and the traveller’s rights.
ARTICLE 3 — PRE-CONTRACTUAL INFORMATION AND FORMATION OF THE CONTRACT
Before the contract is concluded, SOCIALDANCE provides the traveller with the statutory form and the information required by Articles L. 211-8 and R. 211-4 of the French Tourism Code in a clear, understandable, prominent and legible manner.
The booking becomes final once the contractual documents have been accepted, availability has been confirmed by SOCIALDANCE and the required amount has been received. The traveller receives a copy or confirmation of the contract on a durable medium. Special requirements are binding on SOCIALDANCE only if expressly accepted.
Anyone booking on behalf of several travellers undertakes to pass on all contractual information to them. This provision does not deprive any traveller of their statutory rights.
ARTICLE 4 — ELIGIBILITY
SalsaNueva Escape holidays are restricted to people aged 18 or over on the departure date. Minors are not admitted, even when accompanied by a legal representative.
No prior dance experience is required. Participation in classes and activities is optional.
ARTICLE 5 — NO RIGHT OF WITHDRAWAL
A package travel booking does not benefit from the fourteen-day right of withdrawal that applies to certain distance contracts: package travel contracts are excluded from that regime by Article L. 221-2(5) of the French Consumer Code. The traveller retains the termination rights provided by the French Tourism Code and these terms, particularly Article 11.
ARTICLE 6 — PRICE AND INCLUDED SERVICES
The total price inclusive of taxes and the included services are stated before the contract is concluded. Known taxes, charges, fees and supplements are included or identified.
Unless otherwise stated in the specific terms, the package includes accommodation, meals and drinks according to the resort’s formula, the SalsaNueva dance programme, access to resort activities and entertainment, and transfers between Antalya Airport (AYT) and Club Med Palmiye under the conditions in Article 14.
The package is sold without flights and without cancellation insurance. The traveller pays for air tickets and related charges, any personal insurance purchased, the single-room supplement, additional nights before or after the stay, transfers outside the dates specified in Article 14, optional excursions, services and drinks identified as premium, paid wellness treatments and services, tips and personal expenses. No cancellation insurance premium is included in the package price.
No paid extra may be added without the traveller’s express consent.
ARTICLE 7 — PRICE REVISIONS
A price revision after the contract is concluded is possible only if expressly provided for in the specific terms, both upwards and downwards, with the method of calculation stated. It may result only from changes authorised by Article L. 211-12 of the French Tourism Code: passenger transport costs linked to fuel or another energy source, taxes or charges imposed by a third party, or exchange rates applicable to the package.
Any increase is notified clearly and understandably, with its justification and calculation, on a durable medium no later than twenty days before the package starts. If the increase exceeds 8% of the total price, the substantial-change rules in Article 10 apply.
The traveller is entitled to a price reduction corresponding to any decrease in the costs referred to above, less actual, justifiable administrative expenses.
ARTICLE 8 — PAYMENT AND INSTALMENTS
Payment methods, the deposit amount, payment amounts and due dates are stated before booking and repeated in the contract confirmation.
Payment in instalments is offered, up to a maximum of eight payments. The number of available instalments depends on the booking date: earlier bookings allow more payments. The full balance must be paid no later than thirty days before the holiday begins.
Electronic payments are processed through Xplor Deciplus’s secure distance-selling system: Payline for card payments and GoCardless for SEPA direct debit mandates. These providers handle the technical payment process; the package travel contract remains with SOCIALDANCE.
Where SEPA direct debit is used, the traveller provides a valid mandate and receives the required information and notifications under the stated arrangements. Instalments are a way of paying the package’s total price, not a subscription that can be cancelled at any time.
If a payment is missed, SOCIALDANCE sends a request to settle it within a reasonable period. If it remains unpaid, SOCIALDANCE may terminate the contract under the stated conditions and retain only appropriate, justifiable fees corresponding to the effective termination date.
ARTICLE 9 — TRANSFER OF THE CONTRACT
The traveller may transfer the contract to someone meeting the same participation conditions, after informing SOCIALDANCE on a durable medium within a reasonable time and no later than seven days before the holiday starts.
The transferring traveller and the recipient are jointly and severally liable for the outstanding balance and any additional costs actually incurred in transferring the package. SOCIALDANCE provides evidence of these costs, which must not be unreasonable or exceed the costs actually incurred. Transferring the package does not change separately purchased flight tickets: the traveller must contact the airline or ticket seller under their separate contract.
ARTICLE 10 — CHANGES BY SOCIALDANCE BEFORE DEPARTURE
SOCIALDANCE may unilaterally change a non-essential contractual term before departure only if it has reserved this right, the change is minor and the traveller is clearly informed on a durable medium.
If SOCIALDANCE is forced to make a substantial change to a main characteristic of the package, cannot meet an expressly accepted special requirement, or proposes a price increase of more than 8%, the traveller may accept the proposed change or terminate without fees within the reasonable period stated. Information about the consequences of this choice and any replacement service offered is provided on a durable medium.
Class times, room allocation and instructors may be subject to minor adjustments justified by organisational constraints. However, replacing an instructor advertised as a decisive feature, removing a significant part of the programme or changing the resort is not automatically considered minor: this is assessed against the offer and its actual importance to the traveller.
ARTICLE 11 — TERMINATION BY THE TRAVELLER
The traveller may terminate the contract at any time before the holiday starts. Requests must be made in writing to escape@salsanueva.fr. The relevant date is the date SOCIALDANCE receives the request.
The 2027 edition is a group stay at Club Med Palmiye. The resort also welcomes other holidaymakers and is not fully privatised for SalsaNueva Escape. The applicable termination fees are set out below.
Cancellation fee schedule based on the number of days remaining before the stay begins, as a percentage of the total package price for the participant concerned: — more than 120 days: 30% of the price — 120 to 61 days inclusive: 50% of the price — 60 to 30 days inclusive: 75% of the price — fewer than 30 days: 100% of the price
At the traveller’s request, SOCIALDANCE justifies the amount retained.
No cancellation insurance is included or automatically taken out by SOCIALDANCE. A traveller who has purchased personal insurance or benefits from card-related cover should, where applicable, contact their insurer under the conditions of their policy. Such cover does not remove cancellation fees payable to SOCIALDANCE, subject to the traveller’s statutory rights.
The traveller may terminate without fees if unavoidable and extraordinary circumstances at the destination or its immediate vicinity significantly affect the performance of the package or transport to the destination. In this case, all sums paid are refunded, without additional compensation.
ARTICLE 12 — TERMINATION BY SOCIALDANCE
The Palmiye 2027 edition is not subject to a minimum number of participants.
SOCIALDANCE may terminate the contract if unavoidable and extraordinary circumstances prevent performance of the package, informing the traveller as soon as possible before departure.
In this case, all payments are refunded no later than fourteen days after termination. Outside these statutory circumstances, cancellation attributable to the organiser may give the traveller other rights; these terms do not exclude them.
ARTICLE 13 — ACCOMMODATION, ROOMS AND ALLOCATION
The accommodation category, its main features and applicable supplements are stated before booking.
Shared twin/double room. This is the standard package. Travellers may name the person with whom they wish to share, provided that person is also registered.
Single room. A €700 supplement applies for the stay. Single rooms are limited — around fifty for the Palmiye 2027 edition — and allocated in booking order, subject to availability.
Shared-room allocation. Solo travellers who have not named a roommate are offered an allocation organised by SOCIALDANCE. A questionnaire is sent after booking for this purpose. It asks for objective, proportionate information relevant to sharing a room. Completing it is optional; if it is not completed, allocation uses only the necessary data.
Room, neighbouring-room or proximity requests not expressly accepted by SOCIALDANCE are not guaranteed. If a roommate withdraws, there is clear incompatibility or allocation is impossible, SOCIALDANCE seeks an alternative. No supplement may be imposed where the inability to allocate a room is attributable to the organisation.
ARTICLE 14 — FLIGHTS AND TRANSFERS
Flights not included. The Palmiye 2027 offer is sold exclusively without flights. SOCIALDANCE neither sells nor organises air travel as part of this offer. The traveller books and pays for tickets directly with an airline or an intermediary of their choice, under a contract separate from the SalsaNueva Escape package.
The traveller arranges their journey to Antalya (AYT), chooses timings compatible with the stay dates and included transfers, and allows sufficient time for check-in and connections. They check ticket conditions, baggage allowances, the accuracy of their name and the validity of their travel documents and formalities, as described in Article 16.
Separately booked flight: travel disruption. A missed flight or connection, delay, cancellation, schedule change or denied boarding arising under the separate air travel contract and not attributable to SOCIALDANCE does not, by itself, entitle the traveller to a refund, credit, postponement or reduction in the stay price where the package services remain available as agreed. The traveller should contact the airline, ticket seller and, where applicable, insurer about their rights and any rerouting or cover available.
If the traveller cancels before the stay begins because of such an incident, the termination rules and fees in Article 11 apply, subject to statutory exceptions. A no-show, late arrival or early departure for this reason does not automatically entitle the traveller to reimbursement for unused nights, meals, classes or other services that remain available as agreed.
Statutory rights preserved. These provisions do not restrict the traveller’s mandatory rights, including fee-free termination under Article L. 211-14(II) of the French Tourism Code where its conditions are met, remedies for a breach or non-conformity attributable to SOCIALDANCE, or SOCIALDANCE’s statutory duty to provide assistance. They also do not exclude passenger rights against the airline or ticket seller.
Included transfers. Transfers between Antalya Airport (AYT) and Club Med Palmiye are included only for arrival in Antalya on 9 May 2027 and departure from Antalya on 15 May 2027, using the local flight dates communicated to the team. These conditions apply separately to each journey: arrival on 8 May or departure on 16 May, for example, does not include the corresponding transfer, even if the other journey falls on the specified date. The traveller arranges and pays for transfers outside these dates.
The traveller provides flight times and numbers within the deadline stated in the specific terms so transfers can be arranged, and promptly notifies the team of any changes. If these details are not provided on time, SOCIALDANCE makes reasonable efforts to arrange the transfer on the included dates but cannot guarantee an immediate transfer. Any additional transfer or personal rerouting costs are borne by the traveller, unless required otherwise by law or caused by a breach attributable to SOCIALDANCE.
ARTICLE 15 — TRAVELLER INSURANCE
No cancellation insurance is included in the package and SOCIALDANCE does not automatically take it out for the traveller. No cancellation insurance premium is charged as part of the stay price.
Travellers are strongly advised to have personal cover suited to their circumstances and destination, particularly for cancellation, interruption, assistance, medical expenses, repatriation and baggage, and to purchase supplementary insurance if needed.
Any cover linked to a bank card is not automatic. It depends on the card, insurance policy, how the trip was paid for, the people insured, covered reasons, limits, excesses, exclusions and claim deadlines. Before booking, the traveller should check the policy wording and cover conditions with their bank or insurer. SOCIALDANCE does not guarantee that a bank card or personal insurance policy will cover a claim.
Any claim must be submitted directly to the relevant insurer within the procedure and deadlines in its policy wording. Cancellation with SOCIALDANCE remains subject to Article 11 and the traveller’s mandatory rights, regardless of whether the insurer accepts or rejects the claim.
SOCIALDANCE’s professional liability insurance referred to in Article 1 is not the traveller’s personal insurance.
ARTICLE 16 — FORMALITIES, HEALTH AND ACCESSIBILITY
Before the contract is concluded, SOCIALDANCE provides general information on passports, visas, approximate processing times and health formalities, taking account of the information supplied by the traveller. Travellers remain responsible for obtaining valid personal documents and must state their nationality and any circumstances requiring specific checks.
Before booking, travellers must disclose any special requirement, reduced mobility, disability, allergy or assistance need that determines their ability to participate. SOCIALDANCE states whether the request can be accepted and provides available accessibility information.
General physical fitness may be recommended for certain sports or dance activities, without excluding the organiser’s statutory liability.
ARTICLE 17 — THE HOLIDAY AND CONDUCT
Travellers must respect local laws, resort rules, safety instructions and the dignity and integrity of other participants, teams and service providers.
In the event of violent, threatening, harassing, discriminatory, dangerous or seriously disruptive behaviour, SOCIALDANCE may take necessary, proportionate measures, after a warning where circumstances permit. Exclusion or early departure is decided only where seriousness and urgency justify it.
The financial consequences are assessed case by case, taking account of services actually available, costs avoided, any fault and applicable mandatory rules. There is no automatic blanket refusal of refunds.
ARTICLE 18 — LACK OF CONFORMITY DURING THE HOLIDAY
Travellers must inform the contractual contact point without undue delay of any lack of conformity during the package. SOCIALDANCE remedies it within a reasonable period set by the traveller, unless impossible or disproportionate in cost given the significance of the issue and the value of the services concerned.
Where a substantial part of the services cannot be provided, SOCIALDANCE offers suitable alternatives at no extra cost, of equivalent or higher quality where possible. An appropriate price reduction is granted where the services provided are of lower quality. Travellers may reject an alternative only if it is not comparable or the proposed price reduction is inadequate.
ARTICLE 19 — LIABILITY, ASSISTANCE AND EXTRAORDINARY CIRCUMSTANCES
SOCIALDANCE is legally responsible for the proper performance of services included in the package, whether performed by itself or its providers, without prejudice to recourse against them. Statutory exemptions, limits under applicable international conventions and price-reduction or compensation rules apply under their respective conditions.
SOCIALDANCE provides appropriate assistance without delay to travellers in difficulty, including useful information on health services, local authorities and consular assistance, and help communicating or finding alternative services. A reasonable fee may be charged only if the difficulty was caused intentionally or negligently by the traveller, limited to actual costs incurred.
Where unavoidable and extraordinary circumstances prevent the traveller’s return as planned, SOCIALDANCE bears necessary accommodation costs within the limits and exceptions in Article L. 211-16 of the French Tourism Code.
ARTICLE 20 — IMAGE AND VOICE RIGHTS
Participation alone does not authorise promotional use of the traveller’s image or voice. Any authorisation is optional and collected separately for specified purposes, media, duration and territory, with information on withdrawal.
Refusing such authorisation does not affect access to the holiday services, subject to incidental recording necessary for organisation or safety and applicable law.
ARTICLE 21 — PERSONAL DATA
Personal data is processed to manage bookings and payments, meet legal obligations, communicate about the holiday, allocate rooms and, on an appropriate legal basis, send marketing communications.
Travellers receive a separate GDPR-compliant notice identifying the controller, purposes, legal bases, recipients, any transfers outside the European Economic Area, retention periods, their rights and how to complain to the French data protection authority (CNIL).
Any use of instant messaging to share travel-related information is disclosed to travellers, who have an alternative contact method.
ARTICLE 22 — COMPLAINTS AND MEDIATION
Any lack of conformity must be reported during the holiday without undue delay to allow a solution to be sought. After the stay, a written complaint with supporting evidence may be sent to SOCIALDANCE at escape@salsanueva.fr or by post to the address in Article 1. Failing to complain within a short contractual period does not, by itself, remove statutory rights.
After a prior written complaint to SOCIALDANCE has not received a satisfactory response, consumers may contact the consumer mediator free of charge:

ARTICLE 23 — GOVERNING LAW AND JURISDICTION
The contract is governed by French law, subject to any mandatory rules applicable to the traveller. Disputes fall within the courts competent under applicable law. No clause imposes a court selected exclusively by SOCIALDANCE on the consumer.
